If the Rhythm or so-called “safe period” method were actually demonstrated to be reliable, no one would rejoice more than we because it would protect those moth from the hazards, death, injury and abortion those mothers whose religious or personal bias now prohibits them from the use of contraceptive ↑scientific↓ methods that have been demonstrated to be harmless and effective. But until such scientific corroboration from unprejudiced sources is available, it is not only absurd and illogical but shows a shocking disregard for the welfare of these women to grant the necessity for family limitation at the same time instilling faith in a method that offers a false hope of security.
